TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
