The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
